From time to time I am asked how and why I started my own dental practice? Why did I choose this as a career path? What was my motivation? Well, the answer is simple. My goal to become a dentist actually began while I was still in high school. My motivation back then was my strength in the sciences and my ability to work with my hands.

I graduated dental school in 1983 and fulfilled a residency at Morrisania Neighborhood Family Care Center in the Bronx. After finishing my residency, I joined Dr. Alan Richer in Astoria Queens, and have been in private practice for the last 25 years Although I still enjoy working with my hands, I’ve developed an incredible people skill over the years and love not only my patients, but also helping them achieve good oral health through good function and aesthetics.

Since purchasing the practice from Dr. Richer, many changes have been made to the physical premises. Today, changes are ongoing to provide the most efficient, caring, and up to date service to our patients. My dedicated staff and I are extremely caring, and above all go that extra mile to make a patient feel comfortable and at home. With a passion in the arts, my spare time is taken up with a love for woodworking, especially in the fabrication of fine furniture pieces. As well as belonging to many professional associations and societies, I also belong to the Long Island Woodworkers Club, where over the past few years have consistently won awards when entering pieces for competition.
